Richard M. Freiman is a partner at Richard Freiman & Associates, PLLC. Mr. Freiman represents a diverse range of clients including commercial property owners, developers, contractors, municipalities, trucking, bus and fleet automobile companies, manufacturers, insurers and individuals in complex civil defense litigation matters.

Mr. Freiman is a seasoned trial attorney with 30 years of trial and courtroom experience and has tried more than 50 cases to verdict.

He has represented clients in lawsuits involving premises liability, construction accidents, New York State Labor Law, motor vehicle and transportation liability, elevator and escalator accidents, products liability, inadequate security, dental malpractice, hotel management liability, employment discrimination, defamation, dram shop liability, property damage, environmental and toxic torts, insurance coverage and contract disputes.

Mr. Freiman manages all matters from inception through the preparation of pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, trials and appeals.

 

In addition, Mr. Freiman serves as General Counsel to not-for-profit corporations, has extensive experience in Cemetery Law and handles select real estate and estate matters.
